Looking for Light

Rosemary Christmas – Marguerite de Fondaumiere

November 23 – December 4, 11:00am to 4:00pm
Art Space on The Concourse
409 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood

**Opening: 2pm – 4pm Saturday 26 November**

The exhibiting artists, Rosemary Christmas and Marguerite de Fondaumiere, share a similar liking for simplicity and Eastern sensibility.

Ultimately there is light and love and intelligence in this universe. And we are it, we carry that within us, it’s not just something out there, it is within us and this is what we are trying to re-connect with, our original light and love and intelligence, which is who we are, so do not get so distracted by all this other stuff, you know, really remember what we are here on this planet for.” — Tenzin Palmo.

This exhibition is designed to look for what is true, meaningful, positive, life giving and beautiful in our world that is surrounded by unpredictability and uncertainty:  the light of life in a fragile world.

Artist talk & Demonstration: 2pm – 4pm Saturday 3 December
Rosemary: Calligraphy and Drawing a Zen circle
Marguerite: The many different types of Asian papers available and their uses

Note: We are delighted that Primrose Paper Arts member Rosemary Christmas has this opportunity to showcase some of her unique works to the public.
