Wollombi Valley: Sculpture in the Vineyards

ANNUAL OUTDOOR SCULPTURE EXHIBITION
and month long festival of art and culture
Saturday 29th October – Sunday 4th December, 2016

Held across four boutique vineyards in the Wollombi Valley and at selected locations in the historic Wollombi Village, visitors to Sculpture in the Vineyards can enjoy the latest in contemporary outdoor sculpture by talented Australian artists and wander through the picturesque landscape of the Wollombi Valley.  Artists have created site-responsive works that have a unique interaction with the splendour of the vineyards.

Note: Mandy Burgess, co-creator of the work above, is an active member of Primrose Paper Arts and is showing some of the diversity of her art practice in this installation at Stonehurst Cedar Creek Wines.

During the festival visitors can enhance their exhibition experience through guided tours, artist talks, artist-led workshops and degustation tours.  Check out the catalogue below for participating artists, samples of their work, locations and other events in the area.

Webmaster Note: This large outdoor sculptural exhibition is a superb opportunity to see contemporary works from a range of talented Australians.  The sheer number and variety of pieces is sure to be drawing a good audience, but keep in mind that this festival is coming to an end on 4th December.  So plan a trip this weekend!
