More than an exhibition: Wetlanders

Sandra Pearce writes (in part):
“We are really looking forward to spending time at Me ArtSpace, enjoying galleries and other exhibitions in Sydney and meeting people interested in working with paper.  We’re having events on Friday evenings which we’ve called “Friday Unwind’ where anyone can come along and have a play with some printing whilst sipping on some bubbly.

We’re also holding small group workshops in mixed media nature sketchbooks and mokulito printing.  And instead of having an exhibition opening, we thought we’d try for closing drinks on Sunday 27 October, 5-7pm when everyone is welcome to help us celebrate our time in Sydney.

It’s been a lot of fun putting this exhibition together with a great group of artists and printmakers contributing.  The exhibition is mainly prints and artists books that we’re hoping might inspire people to want to try printmaking… heaps of fun!”

  1. I’m looking forward to meeting lots of Primrose Paper Arts members whilst I’m in Sydney from 9 to 14 October at the Wetlanders Exhibition.

Love the workshop programme you’ve put together to go with the exhibition. It makes art works so much more relevant when visitors have the opportunity to get involved themselves and start to understand the process, whatever the media employed.
Looking forward to meeting some of the artists (including you, Sandra) at Me ArtSpace soon.
