There’s a whole lot of good stuff for lovers of paper, cards, journaling, book making and more at the upcoming Sydney Stitches & Craft Show.
Today we are highlighting companies and individuals that we think might be of particular interest to our members and others with a leaning towards paper arts. Click on their names to get more information.
Michelle Lackenby has always been obsessed with pushing the boundaries of art and design within the realm of paper and bookbinding.
She is offering mini-workshops on her stand each afternoon. So brush up your skills and try making paper flowers, create a leather-bound journal or turn your hand to Japanese book binding.
Natalie May is passionate about papercraft and has made it her full-time occupation. She loves to teach and share her passion for creating scrapbooking layouts, cards, mixed media layouts, paper-based layouts, art journals and abstract canvas art.
Webmaster note: I did a mini workshop with Nat last year. Her paper and colour-mixing techniques give spectacular results. Visit her stand and be inspired by her personal art journals on show.
Cardmaking.net and Kaszazz both have stands and will be demonstrating a range of paper arts including stamping, die-cutting, applying colour to surfaces and more. Kaszazz are also offering a hands-on DIY project entitled “Cards of a different fold’. Book on their stand.
