Exhibition: Informal Geographies

The Incinerator Art Space
presents:

Informal Geographies

An exhibition of drawing, handmade paper, installation and mixed media by Anne Numont.

Anne Numont explores place, perception and memory to reveal connections with local landscapes and communities, personal history and contemporary existence.  This body of work reflects the importance of a dedicated space to nurture curiosity, creative practice and output.

An experimental approach drives Numont’s practice, taking form in stylised renderings, abstract maps and both organic and measured mark-making.  Such responses convey patterns evocative of place, the shifting nature of memory and the process of an ongoing dialogue with our surrounds.

Venue:  Incinerator Art Space, 2 Small Street, Willoughby
Dates & time: 1 1 July 2018 – 22 July 2018, Wednesday – Sunday, 10am – 4pm
Opening event:  Saturday 14 July, 2:00 – 4:00pm

Webmaster note: We are delighted to promote this solo exhibition by our member Anne Numont.
