Grampians Texture is an annual event for textile and other artists, providing an opportunity to participate in one of the workshops offered by 19 visiting Australian or international artists. Workshops are suitable for beginners to experienced artists.
Set in Halls Gap, on the edge of the spectacular Grampians National Park, in western Victoria, workshops are available for – 2 day (Sat/Sun), 4 day (Mon-Thur) and 6 day master classes (Sat – Thur). Sessions run from 9 am – 4 pm with morning tea and lunch provided.
We are highlighting two paper-based workshops with the very talented Lee Bethel.
Lee holds a Masters of Fine Art, Honours in Fine Art and a Bachelor in Visual Communications from Sydney University, Sydney College of the Arts. She has shown in many group and solo exhibitions including the Sulman Prize at the Art gallery of NSW. You can read more of her biography and achievements here.
Grampians Texture is a wonderful opportunity to participate in one (or both!) of the workshops she will be holding: Concertina Artist Books – 2 days, or Paper Sculpture – 4 days. Click here for more information on both courses.
